Westchester Publishing Webinar:  The State of K-12 Education During COVID-19

As school districts around the country prepare to resume educating students, there are many questions to be answered. How are schools preparing for the year ahead? What are their expectations of curriculum companies? How will the delivery method of educational content affect purchasing decisions? How will projected losses in state revenue impact school spending?

On Tuesday, August 18, at 1:00 PM, EDT, Westchester Education Services hosted a webinar about “The State of K-12 Education During COVID-19.” Kevin J. Gray, President and Chief Content Officer of Westchester Education Services moderated a discussion with a panel of education experts about how schools are returning to session with the needs of students and those providing their educational and emotional support in mind.

Kathy Mickey, managing editor/senior analyst of the Education Group at Simba Information, was a featured panelist. She leads research on the PreK-12 and college instructional materials industry. Ms. Mickey writes the bi-weekly B2B business intelligence newsletter Educational Marketer and works on a number of annual market forecast reports. She joined Simba in 2000 after many years as a reporter and editor at weekly and daily newspapers, where her focus was education.
