Linda Kopp is Editorial Director of Simba Information, the leading source of market intelligence on the media and publishing industries. Linda oversees the content development strategies for Simba’s seven newsletters, as well as the company’s related market forecast reports, Business Briefs, and conferences. From 1991 to 1995, Linda wrote the market-leading newsletter Computer Publishing & Advertising Report. During the balance of her tenure at Simba, Linda has served in various senior editorial and analyst positions, including launch editor for Simba’s Professional Publishing Report newsletter in 1997, analyst/editor for the newsletters Telecom Advertising Report and Book Publishing Report, and as author and co-author of numerous Simba market forecast reports, including Computer Publishing Market Forecast, Trade Book Publishing, Information Publishing: Business/Professional Markets & Media, and Publishing for Professional Markets: Review, Trends & Forecast. Before joining Simba, Linda was an editor with Larchmont, NY-based Communications Trends, Inc. Kopp holds a B.A. in English from The College of New Jersey.
Karen Meaney, Editor/Analyst for Education Group and Electronic Education Report
Karen Meaney is the editor of the biweekly B2B newsletter Electronic Education Report, which covers the K-12 educational technology arena, as well as the annual report on K-12 educational technology, Electronic Media for the School Market. Prior to joining Simba Information in 2004, Karen was an education reporter at the Journal News, Gannett's daily newspaper in Westchester County, NY, and also worked in marketing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and an MBA from Fordham University.
