Professional Content Report NewsletterApril 23, 2010, Vol. 14, No. 9Reed Business Information Concludes Divestment of Magazines After months of selling off bits and pieces of its slumping B2B business, Reed Elsevier (London) this month concluded divestment of its U.S. controlled circulation magazine titles. On March 31, two management buyouts took place for Tracom and In-Stat, while on April 2, Publishers Weekly was acquired by its former publisher George Slowik Jr. and Partners. Tracom trains managers and employees to develop better interpersonal skills and In-Stat is a market research firm specializing in the mobile Internet and digital entertainment.
